We would like to inform you that from this Tuesday, September 15, all passengers arriving in Lithuania on regular, special or chartered flights by air, sea or land transport must electronically submit their personal data to the National Public Health Center (NVSC). Taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, this requirement is established by the decision of the head of state operations of the emergency situation at the state level.
Each passenger must fill out an electronic form on the NVSC website before the start of the trip and present the received confirmation – the so-called QR (Quick Response ) code – to the carrier or the carrier’s representative when boarding the vehicle. If the person does not have a mobile device or internet access, the carriers or the carrier’s representatives must create the conditions so that the electronic form can be filled out using the means provided by the carriers.
It should be noted that from now on, the paper form can be submitted only in exceptional cases – if it is not possible to do it electronically due to objective reasons, such as internet connection disturbances, during transport by land transport. In such cases, it is up to the carriers to provide the passengers with a printed form to fill out, which will transfer the paper forms filled by the passengers to the NVSC no later than within 1 day.
This decision does not apply to persons transiting through Lithuania.
