The Transport Competence Agency presents the 2020 Safety Review, which aims to assess the level of civil aviation safety.
Over the past few years, TKA has observed positive trends in the field of aviation – with the increase in the number of flights, more and more reports of civil aviation incidents were received, thus it was possible to better identify new emerging threats (of course, with a significant decrease in the number of flights last year, TKA received a correspondingly smaller number of reports).
Not a single accident or dangerous incident was recorded in the flights of Lithuanian airlines in 2020, so for the first time in five years there were 0 dangerous incidents out of 10,000 flights.
