NOTICE TO AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SPECIALISTS (UPDATED)

    The Transport Competence Agency (TKA) informs that, due to the Brexit situation, we are temporarily suspending the issuance of Part-66 licenses for aircraft maintenance specialists, the addition of aircraft type records, the addition of categories or subcategories, if the issuance or addition of the license is supported by the United Kingdom’s Part-147 training organizations until in 2020 December 31 issued training certificates.

    The decision will be valid until an agreement is reached between the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United Kingdom and the EASA common position is expressed regarding the training certificates of the United Kingdom’s Part-147 training organizations issued before 2020. December 31, further validity.
